{"id":90218,"date":"2023-09-15T17:26:08","date_gmt":"2023-09-15T17:26:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=90218"},"modified":"2023-09-15T17:26:08","modified_gmt":"2023-09-15T17:26:08","slug":"anum-rural-bank-new-jobs-2023","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/anum-rural-bank-new-jobs-2023.html","title":{"rendered":"Anum Rural Bank New Jobs 2023"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Head of Finance<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Main Purpose of the Job<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Lead the central account unit of the bank and provide budgetary and accounting support for the Head of Operations<\/p>\n<p><strong>Main Duties and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Supervises and allocate the work of the central account unit to ensure that all tasks are assigned and completed within prescribed timescales<br \/>\n\u2022 Manage and ensure the reconciliation of all internal accounts of the bank (ACHCCC, Ghana Pay etc)<br \/>\n\u2022 Manage the payroll and utilities of the bank<br \/>\n\u2022 Monitor and contribute to the preparation of financial reports, including weekly and monthly reports, annual accounts, budget preparation etc<br \/>\n\u2022 Manage the fixed assets and lenancy agreement of the bank<br \/>\n\u2022 Identify any training and development requirements within the Central Account unit and ensure that these are met<br \/>\n\u2022 Arrange and conduct training on accounting or financial systems issues as required<br \/>\n\u2022 Work with audit, tax and other regulatory bodies to ensure overall coordination of all financial accounting activities through monthly or annual reports<br \/>\n\u2022 Prepare a half-yearly summary feedback of financial statements variances from budget<br \/>\n\u2022 Actively review and advise management on financial and accounting processes<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualification Required &amp; Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 First Degree in Accounting, Finance or Banking with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a related role<br \/>\n\u2022 Must be a member of any of the following professional bodies ICA, ACCA, CIMA.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Knowledge and Competencies<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Proficient in T24 banking software and other banking application<br \/>\n\u2022 Central Accounts Banking Operations and Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS, BASEL and Other)<br \/>\n\u2022 Accounting and banking principles and procedures<br \/>\n\u2022 Tax laws and related regulations<br \/>\n\u2022 Bank of Ghana regulations, directives and other regulatory frameworks<br \/>\n\u2022 Good leadership and interpersonal skills<\/p>\n<p><strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Eastern Region<\/p>\n<p>Interested persons should send their covering letters, detailed curriculum vitae, photocopies of certificates, name and addresses of 3 referees to the address below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Chief Executive Officer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Anum Rural Bank PLC<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>P.O.
