Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n Job Title: College Finance Officer<\/strong><\/p>\n Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 The College Finance Officer shall be the Chief Accounting Officer of the College and the Chief Financial Advisor to the Principal Qualification Required & Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 He\/She must hold a Master\u2019s degree in Accounting or Finance plus a professional qualification. \n\u2022 He\/She has general responsibility for the administration of the financial affairs of the college that will ensure its financial health and he\/she exercises direct superintendence over all accounting officers
\n\u2022 He\/she is responsible for collecting all legitimate revenue due to the college
\n\u2022 He\/She exercises control over expenditure in line with the college\u2019s objectives and budgets
\n\u2022 He\/she has the duty of preparing the annual budget of the college for presentation to the appropriate governing body for approval and implementation
\n\u2022 He\/she is also responsible for ensuring that the financial statements of the college are drawn up in accordance with the law establishing the colleges, the statutes, applicable accounting standards and all other regulations approval by the college as well as the appointed external auditors to get the college\u2019s financial statements audited<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 He\/She must be member of a recognised professional accountancy body
\n\u2022 In addition he \/ she must be analytical, critical, result-oriented, innovative and visionary and possess hands-on ability to work independently.
\n\u2022 He\/She must possess excellent communication, interpersonal and supervisory skills, be a good team player, possess strong IT skills and be familiar with accounting software
\n\u2022 He\/She must be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines and possess proactive commercial flair<\/p>\n
