Activities include developing and implementing sales strategies; identifying potential customers; managing existing customer relationships; monitoring customer and competitor activity and industry trends; sales training; market research, pricing, sales, and merchandising activities; business development activities; sales operations and administration; and developing and implementing advertising and publicity campaigns.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Sales Support Professional\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Activities include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Face-to-face and remote sales to new customers and cross\/up\/repeat sales to existing customers<\/li>\n<li>Assessing customer needs and suggesting appropriate products, services, and\/or solutions<\/li>\n<li>Developing and delivering sales bids\/proposals\/presentations and conducting product demonstrations<\/li>\n<li>Developing medium to long-term sales plans and preparing strategies to protect, grow and diversify the relationship with targeted customers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What You Bring<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or business<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum 5 years relevant work experience with a proven track record, preferably in the relevant industry \/ market<\/li>\n<li>Ideally experience with rotating equipment providers<\/li>\n<li>On rotating equipment like compressors (Centrifugal, reciprocating), steam turbines, aeroderivative gas turbines and gas turbines)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualities &amp; Skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proficient in the understanding and driving of the sales process through its phases.<\/li>\n<li>Skilled in contract knowledge<\/li>\n<li>Skilled in cross-border transactions<\/li>\n<li>Ability to Plan\n<ul>\n<li>Identifying longer term objectives for our customers.<\/li>\n<li>Setting SMART objectives.<\/li>\n<li>Anticipating customers reactions and behaviours.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Ability to:\n<ul>\n<li>Calculate and articulate our business value-add.<\/li>\n<li>Have tough discussions with customers (resolution skills).<\/li>\n<li>Negotiate.<\/li>\n<li>Understand the psychology of customers behaviours.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Passion for energy and rotating equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Positive &amp; a can-do attitude.<\/li>\n<li>Self-driven and motivated.<\/li>\n<li>Persistence to get things done and achieve results.<\/li>\n<li>Communication skills:\n<ul>\n<li>Active listening.<\/li>\n<li>Speech characteristics.\n<ul>\n<li>Clear &amp; Concise<\/li>\n<li>Volume, pitch, pause, Intonation &amp; intensity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Gas Services<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization.
