With offices currently in Accra &amp; Kumasi, Legendary Foods seeks to advance its technology, launch new products and penetrate additional markets.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Role Description:\u00a0<\/strong>Legendary Foods Ltd. is looking for a passionate person willing to work on Saturdays to supervise the processing operations of its products.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide an inventory of raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials and prepare a processing budget for the low stock.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with the establishment and maintenance of food safety systems in the department.<\/li>\n<li>Assist the department in the development of new products.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the running of processing facility operations and maintain systematic order.<\/li>\n<li>Act as the first line of support for troubleshooting and resolving processing issues.<\/li>\n<li>Assist and participate in conducting sensory evaluations of new and existing products.<\/li>\n<li>Document &amp; organise information such as health &amp; safety instances, protocols, protocol changes, recipes, sensory feedback, customer feedback.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the adherence of preparation of existing and new products under strict hygienic protocols.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in developing innovative packaging ideas for different sales channels.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications and skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u25cb A degree in Food Science and Technology, food Processing Engineering, or any related field with 3 or more years of work experience in the Food Processing, Food, and Beverage Industry<\/p>\n<p>\u25cb Must have supervisory experience<\/p>\n<p>\u25cb Scheduling and running routine production activities<\/p>\n<p>\u25cb Inventory management, budget preparation and production plan scheduling<\/p>\n<p>\u25cb Understanding of food safety principles<\/p>\n<p>\u25cb Strong skills in resource (human and equipment) optimization<\/p>\n<p>\u25cb Strong problem-solving skills relating to food processing<\/p>\n<p>\u25cb Strong usage ability of Word and Excel<\/p>\n<p>\u25cb Must have experience managing a team for a minimum of 12 months \u25cb<\/p>\n<p>Must have strong verbal and oral communication<\/p>\n<p>\u25cb Must have the ability to report on one\u2019s activities in written and electronic format and the activities of their team<\/p>\n<p>\u25cb Must have customer service experience<\/p>\n<p>\u25cb Must be self-disciplined and have high integrity<\/p>\n<p>Additional desired qualities<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Food Safety Certifications<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work with little or no supervision<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Application inclusion demand<\/strong>: Please submit your cover letter or letter of intention and CV titled \u201c\u00a0<strong>Processing Supervisor Application<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Include a copy of all relevant certificates and address your email to\u00a0<u><strong>hr@legendaryfoodsafrica.com<\/strong>.<\/u><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Job Description Job Title: Processing Supervisor\u00a0 Organisation: Legendary Foods Ltd.
