Job Role<\/strong><\/p>\n

  • Develop and implement Fraud Prevention Strategy in company in line with Group FRM framework.<\/li>\n
  • Undertake forensic audits in compliance with national and international standards<\/li>\n
  • Provide feedback on the forensic audits performed<\/li>\n
  • Prepare and monitor the budget of forensic auditing<\/li>\n
  • Maintenance of the whistleblower initiative.<\/li>\n
  • Assess the fraud risk status that is assigned to specific business unit objectives;<\/li>\n
  • Adjust the Fraud Prevention Strategy in order to meet the requirements of the audit committee<\/li>\n
  • Prioritize pro-active and re-active forensic auditing assignments to ensure that resources are used efficiently<\/li>\n
  • Perform ad hoc special assignments<\/li>\n
  • Where necessary, assist in the design of specific controls to improve fraud detection and prevention<\/li>\n
  • Provide consultation to management with regard to fraud risk management and control portfolios<\/li>\n
  • Provide expertise concerning the risks and controls of company with specific reference to economic crime<\/li>\n
  • Seek ways in which to add value and prevent losses to the client\u2019s business and bring these to the client\u2019s attention<\/li>\n
  • Provide regular feedback to line management on progress of work performed at their request<\/li>\n
  • Reduce the expectation gap between Forensic Auditing and operations.<\/li>\n
  • Manage external resources to perform forensic and other special audits<\/li>\n
  • Liaise with and assist the external auditors in a professional manner with regard to fraud and fraud prevention<\/li>\n
  • Report on a regular basis on the fraud and other economic crime risk and control environment and the progress with regard to fraud prevention, detection and investigation to GM BRM<\/li>\n
  • Prepare the audit committee report with regard to economic crime issues<\/li>\n
  • Confer regularly with GM BRM on the quality and timing of forensic auditing work that has to be performed
    \n<\/strong>\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n

    Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Educational Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • Degree in Criminal Justice and Forensic Auditing with Interviewing and statement taking skills with four years of investigation and forensic experience in a telecommunication industry as well as Proven record of conducting high profile investigations for corporate clients<\/li>\n
    • 2 years in a management position.<\/li>\n
    • Preferred additional qualification:<\/li>\n
    • CA \/ACCA or LLB<\/li>\n
    • Postgraduate qualifications in Forensic Accounting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
