The incumbent will take full cognizance of applicable legislation and best practice principles, with the ultimate goal and aim to manage the daily activities of the operation in a responsible manner.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0 Managing a large establishment\u2019s Accounting functions<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0 Preparing Financial Reports to both internal and external stakeholders<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0 Ensuring that reliable and timely cash forecasts are prepared<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0 Understanding, interpreting and applying relevant tax laws in business transactions<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0 Ensuring that periodic reports meet set time frames and targets<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0 Ensuring that effective accounting systems are developed and implemented<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0 Ensuring teamwork and supervision of subordinates to achieve set targets and objectives<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0 Liaising with relevant officials of other departments in order to ensure that best practice accounting services are delivered<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualification Required &amp; Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The appointee should have:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0 BSc Accounting and Finance with Minimum of 5 years experience in similar position<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0 Be a fully qualified member of a recognised Accountancy body.
