Job Description

Job Title: HSEQ Manager

Overall Purpose

• Responsible for all HSEQ related matters Onshore and Offshore
• Responsible for building safety culture locally
• Be the focal point with Client for HSEQ related issues onboard JAK
• Ensure implementation of company Management System (MS)

Responsibilities Onshore

• • Internal audit
  • Implementation and maintenance of the Company Management System
  • Be part of the Emergency Response Team as described in MS
  • Company Management Review process
  • Facilitate:
    • Safety induction training for new employees
    • Risk Management Training
    • HSE Training
  • Weekly HSEQ reporting, internal
  • Follow up of incidents and NCs
  • Compliance with HSEQ related rules and regulations

Responsibilities Offshore

• • Maintain the Management System valid for the FPSO
    • In cooperation with HSEQ Manager in Oslo
    • Approval from Oslo
  • Follow up incident reporting on board
  • Follow up on HSEQ related KPIs
  • Preparation of HSE plans as required
  • Facilitation of:
    • Risk Management sessions in the office and on board the Unit
    • Risk Management training
    • Safety leadership training
    • HSE training
  • Internal audits
  • Compliance

Qualifications required for the position

• Degree in petroleum engineering, HSEQ or other relevant discipline
• Minimum 10 years of experience within the maritime industry or the offshore industry
• Minimum 5 years of experience within HSEQ
• Familiar with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, ISM and ISPS
• Experienced auditor
• Good people skills
• Fluent in English

Location

· Administrative center is Accra

· HSEQ Manager will be located in Takoradi

· Frequent travelling to Accra must be expected
