Zoomlion Ghana Limited, a leading Waste Management Company with branches outside Ghana and headquarters in Accra, Ghana, is looking to employ suitably qualified individuals for the following position.

Finance Manager:
You will be required to:

  • Develop and implement guidelines and procedures governing the Finance and Accounting systems
  • Manage the accounting functions of the company to ensure that sound financial management and accounting practices are developed and maintained
  • Ensure that all financial transactions of the company are properly executed and accounted for in accordance with laid down regulations;
  • Direct the company’s annual budgeting and planning process
  • Oversee monthly and quarterly assessments and forecasts of organisation’s financial performance against budget, financial and operational goals. Oversee short and long-term financial and managerial reporting
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements e.g. IRS, SSNIT Bankers, External Auditors

 

Required Skills or Experience

The successful candidate should have:

  • Be a Chartered Accountants (ACCA or CA, Gh) with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience. An MBA Finance or Accounting will be an added advantage
  • Have experience in Finance policy and procedure development and implementation
  • Be highly proficient in the use of at least one Accounting software

 

2. Internal Auditor:

You will be required to:

  • Formulate and implement audit policies and procedures
  • Develop and maintain internal control systems and ensure they are working as intended
  • Develop audit programmes for the assessment of the various operations, systems and procedures of the organization to enable management take the appropriate corrective action
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, policies and procedures
  • Ensure that internal and external audit efforts are properly co-ordinated and that external auditors understand internal audit methodology and have confidence in its application

 

Required Skills or Experience

The successful candidate should have:

  • A Chartered Accountants (ACCA or CA, Gh) with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience. Applicants with an MBA have added advantage
  • Well versed in audit techniques with the ability to apply them effectively
  • Good communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills

 

3.  Marketing Director

You will be required to:

  • Formulate, direct and coordinate marketing activities and policies to promote the services of the company
  • Identify, develop, or evaluate marketing strategy, based on knowledge of the company’s objectives, market characteristics, and cost and markup factors
  • Direct the hiring, training, or performance evaluations of marketing or sales staff and oversee their daily activities
  • Evaluate the financial aspects of product development, such as budgets, expenditures, research and development appropriations, on return-on-investment and profit-loss projections
  • Develop pricing strategies, balancing the company’s objectives and customer satisfaction

 

Required Skills or Experience

The successful candidate should have:

  • Have an Masters degree preferably in Marketing with a minimum of 6 years relevant post qualification experience
  • Have Chartered Institute of Marketing qualification
  • Have excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills

 

4. Project Manager

You will be required to:

  • Create, manage and execute project work, plans and revise as appropriate to meet challenging needs and requirements of the company from start to finish
  • Provide overall direction, coordination for the implementation of Sanitation projects ensures ring timely completion
  • Facilitate the definition of the project scope, goals and deliverables
  • Define project tasks and resource requirements and develop project plans
  • Manage project resources (Budgets, people and materials) for optimum utilisation
  • Minimise exposure and risk to project deliverables
  • Track project deliverables and submit monthly reports to all stakeholders on same

 

Required Skills or Experience

The successful candidate should have:

  • A first degree in Engineering and a Post graduate diploma or Masters Degree in Project Management and a minimum of 5 years relevant experience
  • Direct work experience in project management
  • Strong interpersonal, people management, and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage project stakeholders
  • Proficiency in the use of project management software

 

5. Head, Research and Development

You will be required to:

  • Review Waste Management systems and practices in the past and present to inform on strategies for the future
  • Conduct surveys to ascertain client expectations, concerns and complaints and develop solutions for the future programming of services and projects
  • Undertake research into waste and other hazardous substances management
  • Facilitate capacity-building and training of personal in the various departments/units of the company to accommodate identified gaps in systems, equipment holding and utilisation, and delivery of services, projects and programmers in environmental sanitation

 

Required Skills or Experience

The successful candidate should have:

  • A masters degree and/or a Ph.D in Waste Management and Sanitation related studies with a minimum of 5 years experience in conducting research
  • Good Interpersonal and Communication Skills
  • Strong analytical skills

 

6. Operations Manager:

You will be required to:

  • Provide leadership in the development and implementation of strategies, policies and practices which support the organisation’s mission
  • Maintain effective systems and controls to monitor and direct the work of all businesses, functions and operations in the company
  • Improve the operational systems, processes and policies in support of better management reporting, information flow and management, business process and organisational planning
  • Drive initiatives in the management team and organisationally that contribute to long-term operational excellence

 

Required Skills or Experience

The successful candidate should have:

  • A First Degree in Environmental Science, Water and Sanitation Management with least 5 years experience in Operations Management. An MBA would be an added advantage
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Proficiency in the use of ICT

 

7. Sanitation Engineer

You will be required to:

  • Design and direct the construction and operation of hygiene projects such as sewerage, fecal sludge processing and trash disposal plants
  • Plan the development of filtration plants and storage systems
  • Plan and direct workers in the building and operation of sewerage disposal plants
  • Design and control the operation of incinerators
  • Review and analyse waste Management systems and practices that affect environmental sanitation levels
  • Advise industrial plants on the disposal of obnoxious gases and oils, greases and other toxic wastes

 

Required Skills or Experience

The successful candidate should have:

  • A First Degree in Sanitation or Civil Engineering with a minimum of 5 years experience as a Sanitary Engineer
  • Knowledge of scientific and sewage sanitation principles
  • Ability to create formulations and systems that can be used for projects
  • Knowledge in creating designs using AutoCAD and be able to read and execute projects from blueprints
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical and report writing skills

 

8. Managing Director

You will be required to:

  • Provide forward looking leadership and coordination for Zoomlion Domestic Waste Services Limited to make it a household name
  • Maintain effective systems and controls to monitor and direct the work of all entities within the company. This includes ensuring that there is an effective governance structure in place for all operational areas
  • Develop and lead in the promotion and marketing of the organisation to ensure attainment of its growth targets
  • Manage the resources of the company and ensure financial viability
  • Ensure the company hires, retains and develops a motivated workforce

 

Required Skills or Experience

The successful candidate should have:

  • A good first degree coupled with a Master’s degree preferably in Management, Finance or Marketing
  • A minimum of 10 years post qualification experience five (5) of which should have been in a Senior Management position
  • Experience in Sanitation and Environmental Management would be an advantage
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and decision making skills and be a creative problem solver
