Job Description

Job Title: Senior Wellsite Geologist

Make sure operational delivery consistent with government regulations (and partner expectations)
Interface with logging, mud logging, wireline witness and wellsite geology contractors
Liaise with operations geologists and drilling team for morning, afternoon and ad hoc updates (delegate this where necessary)
Coordinate the mud logging crew-team
Prepare daily geological reports
coordinate and supervise wireline logging and LWD logging as required
Coordinate contract wash-up meetings on wireline logging, LWD logging and mud logging
Supervise Night Wellsite Geologists
Ensuring G&G operational requirements are met at Wellsite

Job Requirements

A minimum of first degree in Geology. At least 10 years experience in senior Well-site Geologist role. Well-site geology and/or mud logging experience, operations geology experience. A good deal of relevant pore pressure experience required. Offshore well experience required.
