Job Description
Job Title: Business Expert Trade Finance and Correspondent Banking
Key results areas/responsibilities:
Team work
Collaborate with RM to develop new trade Business and assist the RM in identifying opportunities in his client portfolios.
Conduct Training on Trade product for Bank’s sale Team.
Conduct customer’s visits with RM and prepare call reports.
Business Development
Aggressively prospect for new clients who frequently deal with Trade products.
Create a lead base of external trade target market through networking.
Commercial Action
Develop client sales and trade relationship calling plans.
Identifying and analyzing risk under Trade Contracts and making recommendations.
Convert customers for cash payment transactions to Trade-related products.
CORE JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Ensure the annualized Trade Income target is achieved as per KPI
Achieved 20% Trade Volume target over the previous year in the respective products
100% retrieval of clearing documents within advised time frame of 3 months as per BOG foreign exchange regulations.
COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS:
Facilitation skills
Ability to work within short deadlines without compromising accuracy
Negotiation and selling skills etc
Assertive
Well-developed written and spoken communication skills to promote the bank capabilities externally
Job Requirements
• First degree or its equivalent professional qualification. • Masters degree would be an added advantage • At least 7 years operational experience in International Trade operations • In-depth knowledge of UCP600, URC and Swift rules and regulations • In-depth knowledge of Bank of Ghana policies and procedures related to International trade and foreign Exchange management.
