Job Description
Job Title: Operations Superintendent
Focal interface point to the FPSO onshore & offshore HSEQ resource, coordination of this group specific to the FPSO operations as delegated, taking into account any agreed priorities with the key stake holders.
Liaise with logistics department for coordination and oversee the purchasing information and systems required for the Regional Operations. Ensure proactive connections with other departments regarding operating, resources and services.
Client focal and interface point, based in the Client regional office, for business related to Engineering, HSEQ, Training and purchasing, specific to the FPSO operations, taking into account any agreed priorities as delegated
Acting as Relieving In Operation Manager, by way of handover of authority and as delegated. Ensuring full coverage of this role in all respects as required, for any out of country business, leave or emergency requirements.
Acting as Relieving SMOR (Senior Modec Offshore Representative) Ensuring coverage of this role in all respects as required, for business, emergency or leave requirements.
Additionally, to include routine monthly visit – approximately 3-5 days onboard FPSO to assist & further drive, development & initiate improvement in consultation with client OIM in the development of FPSO operations, policies, procedures, HSEQ and culture of Operations and as delegated
Qualification

Minimum of eight years in Operations Management level within the Hydrocarbons industry and holding business management qualifications
Strong interpersonal skills, effective decision-making ability, able to articulate across all levels of the business, ability to trouble shoot and apply analytical skills to resolve problems.
Previous exposure to change management, budget compilation and distribution, building effective teams, OH&S and internal auditing.
