Job Description
Job Title: Technology Support Analyst
Comply with operational risk and rigour standards in respect of protecting people, customers, assets and the organization.
Ensure strict compliance with all technology processes ( incident, problem, change and configuration management)
Adhere to the operational risk management guidelines for the team’s activities, working with the Operational Support staff to identify and resolve weaknesses and issues
Conduct IT Security Controls Snap checks (CSA) and monitor IT Security activities e.g. application & system controls, physical and logical access security controls, review of disaster recovery and back-up procedures, media storage
Ensure Technology vendors are paid promptly by liaising with finance in preparing Memos for vendor payments.
Process PO’s on SAP for all Technology purchases in align with budget requirements
Maintain higher availability of user desktop and peripheral services
Configuration of routing and switching equipment;
Install and maintain banking software’s on user workstations
Configuration of hosted IP voice services
Monitor the operability of all locally hosted services to ensure maximum uptime
Build, configure and manage branch servers in line with standard build and support policies
Maintain current and accurate inventory of technology assets
Take actions to achieve reductions in frequency and duration of incidents that impact application availability
Ensure shortfalls in IT availability are recognized and appropriate corrective actions are identified and progressed
Job Requirements
Undergraduate or higher, IT, Information Technology, ITIL Certification, CISA, CRISK,CISM Certification, cloud computing, Infrastructure-As-A-Service, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) certification, VMware Technology, VMware servers
