Job Description
Job Title: Accounts Officer / Administrator
Purpose of the Job:
Provide Accounts & Administrative support to Operations & Maintenance Managers in accordance with Company Standards.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Reconcile the Sites Service Sheets
- Reconcile the job Cards / input the prices / establish invoice
- Analyse Car log/ Fuel data
- Compile the Monthly report
- Reconcile expenses – petty cash
- Reconcile spare parts stocks
- Coordinate the sites refuelling plan / Purchase Requisitions
- Coordinate ECG reload / Petty Cash / account
- Reconcile / Control teams tools inventory
- Reconcile First Aid Kit and Vehicle condition
- Clear / Issue delivery note for return of old part, labelled per site ID & contra check delivery note
- Ensure operational areas have fuel to discharge their duties
- Generator fuel site consumption
- Vehicle Fuel consumption
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
- To ensure strict adherence of company’s H, S &W and absolute rules at all times.
- To report and document any incident or accident occurred.
- Follow safety and hazardous instructions before start of work.
- Manages tracking procedures of the fleet and ensure efficiency in terms of travel distances.
- Ensure a clean Environment.
- Ensure presence of safety equipment in the working space e.g. Fire buckets, Fire Extinguishers, etc.
Required Skills or Experience
- Two year experience in similar role with similar responsibilities.
- BSc/HND in Accounting and Finance
- Minimum of Two year working experience.
- Perfect usage of the computer software, reporting and quickbooks.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Good Knowledge of Accounting Practices and processes.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Tally and other accounting software’s.
- Computer literate (Microsoft Windows & Microsoft office).
- Team worker
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Safety awareness
