Job Title: Accounts Officer
Job Responsibilities
- Reconciling and maintaining balance sheet accounts
- General ledger operations
- Assisting with monthly closing and preparation of monthly Profit and Loss statements
- Assisting with the preparation of monthly Profit and Loss statements
- Assisting with accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Assist with tax computations and returns
- Assist with payroll administration
- Assist with budgets and forecasts
- Assist with account/bank reconciliations
- Assist with preparation and coordination of the audit process
- Assist with implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures
- Responsible for electronic financial data entry
- Perform any other duties as required by CEO
Required Skills or Experience
- A minimum qualification in HND/Degree
- At least two years working experience in a similar role
- Must have knowledge of applicable local statutes, laws, codes and regulations
- Applicant must have excellent written and oral communication skills
- Must be proactive, hardworking, results-oriented and, honest
- Must be able to work under pressure and be an excellent team player
- Must live near Circle or environs
