Job Description

Bulyanhulu Gold Mine seeks to appoint a Mechanical Foreman at the Gold Processing Plant to ensure that all scheduled and unscheduled mechanical maintenance activities for the Gold Plant, TSF dam and fire suppression system at BGM are properly planned and executed.

  • This  will mean ensuring that the maintenance budget is met through effective cost control and adhering to the weekly maintenance plan. The incumbent will address equipment failures and other sources of unplanned work, effectively balancing planned and unplanned work in order to achieve availability targets.

Required Skills or Experience

  • Practical experience of 5-10 years, preferably in mining/heavy industry and gold plants, is a requirement, and should be complemented by at least 2 years’ frontline supervisory experience, preferably in a mining/heavy industry environment.
  • Exposure to the mechanical trade and experience in a minerals processing plant are key.
