Ericsson Ghana recruits Senior Technology Consultant, As a Senior Technology Consultant (consultant) you will work together with the customer on the upper management level, building relationship, adding customer value and creating business. You will have different roles in different projects, depending on the type of assignment and competence level of the individual.

The consultant would work in one or more of the following area:
Business Strategy and Planning
Marketing and Service Development
Network Strategy consulting
Process and Organizational Development
Service and Process Improvement
Program and Change Management
Technology Consulting
Competence Planning
Network Operations Management
The consultant creates value for customers and the Company by addressing business, operational, organizational, technology and competence issues related to revenue generation, cost reduction and/or risk reduction. The consultant would do so by a) situational and issue analysis; b) proposing possible solutions and/or c) participating in implementation of proposed solutions. An experienced consultant can take the role as Project Leader and has knowledge in Project

Management in terms of planning and delivering on time, quality, resource management, budgets and risk management.

Depending on the situation a consultant can take the role of expert, facilitator, consulting project manager or mentor. Prerequisite for success is a trust based relation with customer.

Examples of consultant deliverables are; business plan, go-to-market strategy and marketing plan, new technology migration plan, service and process improvement, competence development plan and operational model implementation.

Within Ericsson a consultant works with the sales engagement organization, Region management. Within the customer organization consultants work with all levels, from operational to the board.

The role of a Consultant is one of the key representatives for the Company towards our customers. This means that you take on a big financial responsibility both for managing the customer relationship as well as achieving targeted sales. He/she should show a strong business mind-set and sales orientation, and has strong influencing and negotiation skills with focus on opportunities that generate leverage for Ericsson sales.

The Consultant is expected to travel internationally and work in different cultural environments.
The technical and business development is rapid and you are responsible for continuously keeping your competence and skills up to date.

Accountabilities
Participates in projects as project member and global subject matter expert. Performs highly qualified analyses. Proposes solutions on technical, operational, strategic, legal, and/or financial aspects. Audit consulting assignments.
Leads projects of large size and high complexity. Managing and meeting customers’ expectations in the delivery of projects.
Drives the improvement of the methods of delivery and portfolio development to enable organizational competence development, including a more effective consulting sales process.
Identifies scopes and gets customer commitment for consulting sales opportunities inside and outside projects and the Company’s portfolio to contribute to higher sales. Prepares a sales plan in collaboration with the Key account manager.
Convenes customer feedback on technical, operational, strategic, legal, and/or financial aspects to improve the Company’s offerings.
Performs and coaches others to continuously document knowledge to enable an effective knowledge sharing process and organizational development. Sharing knowledge in internal and external forums.
Coaches others within project and customer context.

Min Education Level : First Degree
Work Experience : 5 – 10 Years
Qualifications : Experience and Qualifications
University degree or equivalent knowledge acquired through long-term job experience.
At least 7 years experience in consulting (in telecom), telecom vendors, and/or telecom operator environment experience in relevant positions.
An understanding of Ericsson’s product portfolio is desirable
