Job Title: Process Engineer

Job Requirements

•   Fluent English
•   Citizen of Ghana
•   Valid Driver’s License
•   Registered with Ghana Institute of Engineers

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Bachelors Degree-Metallurgical or Chemical Engineering
•   Computer Literate-Advanced MS Suite
•   3-5 years sales experience of Industrial, Mechanics and Process equipment and Weir product
•   Weir product knowledge will be advantageous

Key Tasks

•   Provide technical support for the product, internally and externally
•   Compile technical proficient product offers for tendering department, including selection and pricing
•   Full technical support and offering with the tendering department
•   Compile trial proposal documents for identified trials sites, as well as assist sales network in submission justification and follow through
•   Implement product strategic plan
•   Gather market intelligence
•   Technical product presentations to Customers and industry associations
•   Commissioning assistance to Customers
•   Identify and develop new markets
•   Compile technical reports
•   Understand and interpretation of technical drawings
•   Grow and support product installed base in West Africa
•   Adhere to HSE and Housekeeping requirements at the branch and Customer sites
•   Adhere to Duty of Care Policy at all times

Minimum Skills / Abilities

•   Excellent business communication-verbal and written;
•   Able to analyze and interpret technical drawings, financial reports and legal documents;
•   Presentation skills
•   Demonstrates strong technical understanding;
•   Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner;
•   Manages difficult Customers and responds promptly to Customer needs;
•   Project Management, deadline driven and sound understanding of cost implications
