Job Description

Our client, an international Oil & Gas E&P Company operating in Ghana, has vacancy for the following position.

Located in Accra and reporting to the Country Manager, the purpose of the role is to support the development of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility in the Western Region by:

• Managing the Social Responsibility departmental budget
• Understanding and ensuring adherence to FCPA policies and procedures
• Mapping direct and indirect areas of influence of the company and identifying priority areas of the company’s community outreach strategy
• Overseeing the development, implementation, and on-going administration of key community investment programmes

Required Skills or Experience

Essential Skills/Qualifications:

• Knowledge and experience in developing and manging strategic community investment programmes in multinational companies
• Customer focused with excellent communication/presentation skills in English; knowledge of any of the 9 Ghanaian Government sponsored languages is desirable
• Tertiary Level Education in business, communications or public policy is preferred
• Good working knowledge of Ghanaian regulatory structure and government, local Ghanaians cultures, customs and traditions – particularly in Western Region Coastal communities
