Lancaster University Ghana: Business Analyst

The role of the Business Analyst is to work on strategic projects as directed by the Project Director and input into the MIS reporting function for the group. The Position will report operationally & administratively to Project Director

Travel will be required both within Ghana and internationally as required from time to time.

Responsibilities

The principal responsibilities of the Business Analyst are to:

Business Development

Work on strategic Projects as identified by Project Director
Carry our desk research
Supervise primary research if required
Financial modeling
Prepare business plans and feasibility studies
Participate in negotiations
Joint venture and collaboration agreements
Participation in conferences and exhibitions

Management Information Systems & Strategy

Budgeting and long term planning for the company
Contribute to business performance by supporting senior management
Contribute to business planning and strategy formulation.
Sit periodically with Heads of Departments to secure information requirements for reports or seek clarifications required by Project Director
Set targets and standards of performance for team members (KPI’s)
Update knowledge and skills on an ongoing basis.
