Meridian Port Services Ltd (MPS) is a joint venture between Ghana Ports & Harbours Authority (GPHA), and Meridian Port Holdings (MPH), a world renowned container terminal operating company, operating the container terminal in Tema. Job Description

We are seeking to recruit qualified, competent and interested candidates to fill the above vacancy in the Technical Department of the Company.

Job Summary:
Under the general direction of the Technical Manager, he/she will be responsible among others for the maintenance and repairs to all MPS facilities including buildings, electrical distribution network, substations, generators, yard and yard lighting’s.


Major Accountabilities:

  • Among other duties, receive and execute instructions and decisions from the Technical Manager
  • Plan and coordinate electrical and civil preventive maintenance activities for the facilities
  • Actively promote safety culture and awareness at all times and ensures a safe workplace policy

Job Location: Jobs are located at the Tema Port

Required Skills or Experience

  • A B.Sc. Degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering or its equivalent from a recognised tertiary institution
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the building environment with emphasis on building regulations
  • Possess drive and able to meet strict deadlines
