Newmont Ghana: Regional IT Business Analyst – Finance

Newmont Ghana Gold Limited, a core operating district of Newmont Mining Corporation which is one of the world’s largest gold, mining companies.

Job Description

The successful candidate will report to the Regional IT Solutions Manager and will be responsible for the execution and enable assigned operational business unit(s) strategy by serving as the overall subject matter expert for process reengineering, business case development and business requirements gathering on regional efforts

Essential Duties:

Participate in the overall business process strategies, industry research, analysis requirements and business case development
Provide analysis regarding value realization plans related to return on investment for business solutions
Develop, write and communicate business requirements for the design and implementation of business solutions regionally across business units with complex processes
Contribute to ensure successful implementation of system enabled process

Required Skills or Experience

Technical skills, Education/Training & Experience:

A Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting, Engineering, Geology, Computer Science, B.Com, or related technical field plus 5 years experience of business or operations process analysis, design, and business case development
Must exhit outstanding verbal and written communication skills, as well as organizational skills, and deductive reasoning skills
Knowledge and experience in systems implementations, organizational change management, performance measurement, knowledge management and best practices benchmarking
Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Visio and ERP application
