ACDI/VOCA is currently seeking a Business Management and Marketing Specialist for an upcoming volunteer assignment in Ghana. The Veterinary Services Directorate of the Ministry of Food and Agriculture is requesting volunteer assistance to improve their marketing of veterinary drugs and vaccines. The volunteer will also provide training on record keeping and how to develop plans for expansion. The assignment will last for approximately three weeks in the country, in addition to preparation and research previous to departure. Job Title: Business Management and Marketing Specialist

As part of the Farmer-to-Farmer Consortium, this assignment is made possible through USAID funding. In accordance to USAID guidelines, any candidates submitted for consideration under this project must have a valid US passport or Green Card.

Volunteer Qualifications

• University degree in Business, Marketing or other related areas
• At least 10 years of experience in business management, with some experience in marketing.

• Proficient computer skills including MS Word and Excel

• The volunteer should be prepared to live in a rural setting with limited or no access to amenities such as air conditioning or internet.
• Previous experience in rural African settings is an advantage but not required
