Job Title 1: Sales Coordinator

Job Description

An opportunity has become available for you to join a dynamic, vision-driven and professional team for the position of  Sales Coordinators. Will be Reporting to the Sales Manager.

Purpose of the Job 
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the sales activities and providing support to the sales team.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
  • Prospect new customers for the company
  • Follow up on sales activities to ensure the achievement of corporate objectives
  • Prospect for new business
  • Identify and introduce new corporate and institutional clients falling in SMEs, large categories  and other areas
  • Prospect clients in defined zones
  • Assist the Branch sales manager in business leads
  • Gather relevant market information and pass it on to the branch sales manager communicate effectively with clients and colleagues through formalized reporting. 

Required Skills or Experience

  • Minimum of HND in Sales and Marketing, or any related field at least a year of experience.
  • Good knowledge and skills in Microsoft applications especially Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
  • Excellent knowledge in sales and relationship management.
  • Team player and result oriented
  • Good interpersonal and skills.
  • High degree of social competence and right emotional balance.
  • Excellent report writing skills

    • Good knowledge and skills in Microsoft applications Excellent knowledge in marketing and relationship management.

Job Description

Purpose of the Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
  1. Market analysis and marketing activities
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Follow up on sales activities to ensure the achievement of corporate objectives
Implement broad institutional sales strategy as defined by the Company.
  • Prospect for new business and ensure renewals of existing businesses
  • Identify and introduce new corporate and institutional clients with whom a mutually  beneficial  relationship can be developed
  • Prospect clients in defined zones with respect to business acquisitions
  • Make regular presentation of company products and services to the identified target market.
  • Assist the agent staff in business leads
  • Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues through formalized reporting
  • Maintain regular contact with key accounts/ business holders
  • Periodically gather relevant market information and analyze to inform management decision
  • Assist in recruitment, training and retention of the agent staff for the branch
  • Set and maintain standards of personal and professional performance by self and Agent staff.
  • Ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures by all agent staff. 

Required Skills or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree  in Marketing
  • At least three years (3) experience in related field
  • Good knowledge and skills in Microsoft applications Excellent knowledge in marketing and relationship management.
  • Team player and result oriented
  • Valid driving license
  • Ability to understand the business environment and respond accurately to business demands
  • Should be able to analyse markets
  • Good interpersonal and organizational skills.
