AOLS Ghana Limited is a freight forwarding Company operating from both Accra and Tema. We specialized in freight forwarding, customs clearance, NVOCC, Shipping Agency and warehousing.


Job Description

Chief Accountant, Accra Office
Based in Accra, you will directly report to the Managing Director

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparation/Filing of reports to VAT, SSNIT, IRS with review and computation of PAYE taxes
  • Registry of all incoming and outgoing documents and invoices
  • Ensuring cost efficiency and accurate operational and cash budgets
  • Daily petty cash management and update of cashbook
  • Supervision of Tema office and operations administration (Cash book, deposits,…..)
  • Invoicing, debt collection and bank reconciliations
  • Daily Financial reporting, income and balance sheet on audit basis
  • Journal entries in accountancy system
  • Continuous reviewing of Administrative Procedures



Required Skills or Experience

Your will have the following attributes:

  • Accountant degree or HND Polytechnic level 2 or 3
  • Big advantage granted to candidates with work experience especially in freight forwarding
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer literate with high knowledge of accountancy ledgers and Excel
  • Fluent in English
