The ARB Apex Bank Limited is a “mini”-central bank for the Rural & Community Banks (RCBs). The Bank was registered as a public limited liability company in January 2000. The shareholders are the RCBs. It was granted a banking license in June 2001 and was admitted to the Bankers Clearing House as the 19th member in August 2001.
It had its certificate to commence business on 1st November 2001 and commenced banking business on 2nd July 2002. The activities and operations of the Bank are governed by the ARB Apex Bank Limited Regulations, 2006 (L. I. 1825) which came into effect on 12th December 2006.
The Bank has 9 branch offices throughout the country, which is as follows: Accra, Kumasi, Sunyani, Bolgatanga, Takoradi, Koforidua, Hohoe, Tamale.
Job Description
Job Title: E – Banking Manager
The ARB Apex Bank Ltd has been established by the ARB Apex Bank Ltd. regulations, 2006 (L. I.1825) to provide support services to the Rural and community Banks (RCBs).
The bank invites applications from suitably qualified applicants for the following position: E-Banking Manager
Job Purpose
• The E-Banking Manager will be responsible for the development, implementation, enhancement, and support of the Bank’s e-banking products and services including the day-to-day card’s operations
Key Job Responsibilities
• Develop and implement strategies for the effective operation of the e-banking unit.
• Oversee the daily operations of all e-banking functions (Mobile & Internet Banking, Settlement & Reconciliation, Collection & Payments, remittances, and cards Centre)
• Supervise staff in the e-banking.
• Organized e-banking security awareness education and training for stakeholders.
• Provide technical/operational advice and leadership in e-banking
• Improve service quality results by studying, evaluating, redesigning processes and implementing change
• Supervise the rollout of the ATM platform for the bank and RCBs and monitor and evaluate all related activities thereafter.
• Ensure the promotion and sale of all e-banking products to the RCBs and their customers
• Identify potential new e-banking businesses and develop them into revenue generating opportunities for the Bank and RCBs
• Consistently research, monitor and implement strategies to ensure growth in market share of the Bank’s e-banking products and services
• Monitor and ensure effective control and mitigation of risks associated with e-banking operations
• Ensure innovation and work to improve the Bank’s e-banking channels, including evaluating product opportunities on the Bank’s and RCBs technology platform
• Demonstrate exposure in electronic payment systems in Ghana
• Maintain a detailed understanding and knowledge of e-banking operations and ensure that staff of the Unit is adequately trained
Qualification Required & Experience
• Applicant must possess a degree in Banking, Finance, Computer Science or any related discipline from a recognized university, with a minimum of 8 years post qualification experience in a similar position or a professional qualification in Banking or any related discipline with five years post-qualification experience in a similar position in a financial institution.
• A relevant degree will be an added advantage
Knowledge and Skills Required

• Excellent report writing and presentation skills
• Good project management skills and a team player
• Proactive and result-oriented
• Experience with ATM network and cards management
• Exposure to the electronic payment systems in Ghana
• Ability to understand and assist management to negotiate win-win solutions in contracts with third party e-banking service providers
• Demonstrate ability to research into market trends in e-banking products and services and develop profitable solutions
• Proficient in the use of MS Office applications and the internet
