Job Description

Job Title: Remote Bogger Operator

Candidates must have solid production and development charging proficiency and be capable of:

• Bogging of face
• Clearing of development face
• Loading from stopes and dumping in trucks
• Backfilling
• Remote Bogging
• Clearing of sumps and Water Storage Facility
• Understanding of bucket count per stope and bogging per instructions
• Performing routine checkup of equipment, before operations
• Performing and documenting walk-around pre-shift inspections and monitor instrument gauges frequently
• Demonstrating knowledge of underground mining processes and operations
• Ensuring all task activities follow and are aligned with Standard Operating Procedures and Safe Work Instructions at all times
• Practicing and promoting company environmental, health, safety and operational policies and procedures
• Completing end of shift tasks including status checks, data reporting and handover in preparation for the incoming shift team
• Performing other duties as may be reasonably assigned by your supervisor in accordance with the company’s policies.

Required Skills or Experience

• Must possess at least MSLC/SHS Certificate or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
• Advance knowledge and/or experience with the operation of Remote Boggers
• Currently employed in an underground operation as a Remote Bogger Operator
• Must have at least five (5) years’ working experience at Underground and 2 years as a Remote Bogger Operator.
• Self-motivated individual with a positive attitude and good personal behavior.
• Results oriented and meet deadlines.
• Must possess a valid Ghanaian driver’s license/Operating Permits.
