Job Title: Governance Support Manager

About the role

The Governance Support Manager will ensure the effective and efficient coordination and provision of technical and logistical support to the Steering Committee / Board of Trustees in the administration of the programme. The role provides support to the Chair of the SC/ Board of trustees in delivering effective governance arrangements in STAR-Ghana. The post-holder will hold accountability for ensuring effective governance structures and mechanisms operate on a day-to-day basis with the support of the Head of Programmes and other members of the Senior Management Team of the PMT. This will include the delivery of smooth and efficient running of meetings of the Board and the overall coordination of its sub-committees.The Governance Manager will assist the trustees in their duties, ensuring that their decisions are in accordance with STAR-Ghana’s governing documents and reflect its objects and priorities.

About you

You must have work experience in the NGO sector in administration, corporate governance and logistics functions. You should be confident to work in a large organisation with multiple partners, have good networking and  relation building skills, excellent written and verbal communication. You must have a knowledge and mastery of Microsoft Office suit.
