Purpose:
To gather intelligence data on the industry, analyze and promptly alert the Chief Executive and advise Management on all security matters.
- Develops procedures for data collection, analysis, storage, retrieval and dissemination of intelligence information to key stakeholders in a timely manner
- Monitors and anticipate changes in the business environment to promote and implement appropriate strategic responses
- Prepares briefing materials on intelligence information in the cocoa industry for Chief Executive
- Provides expert advice on strategies to minimize losses through unapproved marketing channels
- Ensures proper surveillance of movement and sale of COCOBOD’s produce
- Investigates alleged malpractices with the service provided for farmers by stakeholders and develop strategies for the elimination of same
- Initiates and develops policies and procedures for the protection and security of COCOBOD assets
- Performs any other duties as may be assigned by the Chief Executive

- Ability to direct, motivate, co-ordinate and control activities of others
- Computer literate
Minimum Qualification:
- A first degree from a recognized university and must have a specialized training in intelligence work
- A minimum of twelve (12) years post-qualification experience is required
