Head of Treasury Job

The head of a treasury is typically known as a treasurer. This position may not necessarily have the final control over the actions of the treasury, particularly if they are not an elected representative.

Job Description

Job Title: Head of Treasury.

Job Purpose

•   Plan and manage treasury operations particularly, investments deposit mobilization dealings and exchange rates, liquidity and internal risks in accordance with the Bank’s policies and strategies and regulatory requirements.

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Minimum qualification of Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics plus ACI certificate or the equivalent of education, training and work experience
•   Relevant professional certificates (i.e) CIMA, ICAG will be an advantage
•   High level of computer knowledge good analytical skills in required and Banking operations.
