Overview

• The role of an Electrical Maintenance Technician involves the daily implementation of Electrical activities to ensure the effective and efficient operation of Electrical systems at the production plant.
• The responsibility would include the development and implementation of preventive maintenance programs to keep the Electrical systems healthy, attending to all Electrical breakdowns, preparing reports on them and the reports of all major Electrical activities, spare parts required through the Maintenance Supervisor regularly.

Job Description

Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Technician

Duties

• Responsible to complete all Electrical maintenance activities including breakdown maintenance and preventive maintenance systems.
• Responsible to carry out Electrical operation of LV and MV equipments and maintenance of LV equipments.
• Direct responsibility for implementing appropriate systems preventive maintenance and equipment history.
• Responsible for discipline in maintenance work.
• Responsible for implementing the Electrical safety systems in the plant area.
• Ensuring for optimized energy utilization in the plant.
• Responsible to execute the periodic preventive maintenance has been carried out in all Electrical control panels, motors, UPS etc., (daily, weekly, monthly, half yearly and annual) as per preventive maintenance schedule for trouble free and efficient operation.
• Attending immediately to electrical breakdown with all electrical equipment’s to minimize the machine down time.
• Responsible for safer operation of all electrical equipment under his control.
• Guide machine operators and assistants for safe use of electrical equipment.
• Help production and other utility personnel for good yield, minimize losses and target achievement.
• Responsible to prepare breakdown report for all the breakdown stops the line more than 20 min.
• Responsible to prepare root cause analysis for all the repeated breakdowns.

Qualification Required & Experience

• Electrical Engineering Technician Part III or HND/ Degree in Electrical Engineering
• At least 3 years relevant experience
• Effective Communication
• MS Office Suite
