Newmont Ghana Gold Limited a subsidiary of Newmont Mining Corporation, one of the World’s largest gold mining companies.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of the store materials catalogue system, bulk commodity replenishment, scheduling forecasting and inventory control replenishment and re-ordering functions
- Supervise the day-to-day operation of the Ellipse Inventory Control System to process the replenishment and the management of the company’s inventory investment electronically
- Ensure that the inventory and control strategies are acceptable and managed in the best interest of Newmont Ghana
- Implement stock control strategies in relation to operational and corporate requirements
- Oversee the replenishment and reporting of all Bulk Commodities including usage, scheduling and forecasting
- Develop and implement cataloguing improvement programs to identify stock duplications and control standardization of the catalogue format

Required Skills or Experience
- A degree and or APP certification with a minimum of seven years of increasing responsible purchasing/buyer/materials experience in a mining environment
- Must have a working knowledge of Inventory Control and Cataloging
- Must possess and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and pay close attention to details
- Understand basic warehouse functions and responsibilities. Basic inventory management experience desired
- Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills
