REP is currently being implemented in 161 districts nationwide through 161 district-based Business Advisory Centres (BACs), 36 Rural Technology Facilities (RTFs) and a network of rural and community banks in partnership with District Assemblies, NBSSI, GRATIS, Financial Institutions and the Private Sector. The Programme is co-financed by the Government of Ghana (GOG), the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) and African Development Bank (AfDB). A Programme Coordination and Management Unit (PCMU) has been established in Kumasi to oversee the day-to-day activities of the REP.
Job Description
Job Title: Zonal Business Development Officer (BDO)
The Zonal Business Development Officer (BDO), reporting directly to the Operations Manager will lead in the field level implementation of the Business Development Services (BDS) component of the Rural Enterprises Programme (REP) at the zonal level.
Generally, responsibilities of the job position will include;
Location: Kumasi but working to the zones as follows: Northern (Northern, Upper East & Upper West Regions); and Southern (Greater Accra, Eastern Volta and Central Regions).
