Job Description
Job Title: Marine Engineer
The Marine Engineer works together within the Maintenance & Integrity (M&I) Team and Operations, for both FPSO facilities (KNK & TEN) with the following scope of accountability, but not limited to:
Manage & Support Marine Engineering requirements required for Daily O&M Operations and Engineering / MoC requirements to achieve key performance indicator targets related to safety,
production, and maintenance of the facility equipment and systems.
Assist the Marine Engineer lead, to manage the Marine “Class & Flag” Engineering requirements required for Daily O&M Operations and Engineering / MoC requirements.
Coordinate Operation & Maintenance activities, Class & Flag activities for the FPSO’s specifically for OEM ship & Marine items, for inspection of oil / gas fired boilers, heat exchangers, compressors and pressure vessels and other rotating equipment, oily water separator, sewage systems, pumps, chemical treatment of tanks, Cargo / Ballast and Void Tanks, Cargo and offtake systems, hydraulic systems, deck machinery, mooring and station keeping systems
Qualification
A formal engineering degree as Marine engineer
Minimum of 5 x years’ experience as either a First Class Marine Engineer or Chief Engineer,
Either at sea, or preferably on FPSO’s with oil / gas fired boilers, Steam plants, heat exchangers, compressors, pressure vessels and rotating equipment, oily water separator, sewage systems, pumps, chemical treatment of tanks, Cargo / Ballast and Void Tanks, Cargo and offtake systems, hydraulic systems, deck machinery, mooring and station keeping systems. Experience with Marine “Class & Flag” Engineering requirements preferred
Excellent written and spoken command of the English language
