Job Description

The successful candidate will report to the Process Plant Maintenance Superintendent and will assist, plan, supervise and co-ordinate the process plant instrumentation maintenance activities

Essential Duties:

Organize, distribute and coordinate all instrumenatation maintenance works at the entire site areas equipped with instrumentation devices
Provide control systems engineering programming and perform instrumentation activities
Conduct troubleshooting for all of the instrumentation systems
Collect and analyze data to propose changes in department’s procedures or instrumentation design
Work with the stores/procurement department to ensure that all the necessary instrument parts and supplies are available to maintain the process plant and associated facilities

Required Skills or Experience

Technical Skills, Education/Training & Experience:

A Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field and equivalent combination of training and experience in leading multi-national processing plant
A minimum of 5 years experience in a large gold processing environment
Strong knowledge related to the maintenance of all the mechanical equipment, machinery and mobile equipment assigned to process maintenance
Strong knowledge in large mills reline, crushers reline, slurry and water pump maintenance
