Job Description

Job Title: Accounts Administrator (OMAO)

Descriptor

Responsible for generating and processing transactions.
Handles general accounts queries.
Checks the amounts to be paid and received by a business unit.
Arranges payment of bills and accounts.
Keeps records of financial transactions.
Keeps customer account details up to date.
Checks account order forms and receipts are filled in correctly.
Compares costs with budgets.
Calculates the running costs of a company or organisation.

Handles general accounts queries.
Responsible for transaction processing.
Checks account order forms and receipts are filled in correctly.
Sets up new accounts.

Individually accountable for managing own time, tasks and output quality over periods of 1 day to a maximum of three months.

Requirements: Skills, Qualifications and Experience required

Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, BComm / Administration or similar from an accredited University.
At least 2 years industry experience in a similar role is preferred.
