SG-SSB Ltd, a market leader in the financial services industry in Ghana with countrywide representation; is seeking to recruit individuals who can blend long-term strategic thinking with hands-on action, and have the commercial awareness to grow our business.

1. Branch Manager

Successful candidates will report to the Head of Territorial Unit in the Retail Banking Division, and be responsible for delivering the branch performance through effective and efficient implementation of Sales and Service Strategies.

Duties:

  • Provide leadership to your team through effective coaching and feedback in line with the bank’s performance management system
  • Leverage on the Banks recently re-organized branch teams and the introduction of its sales improvement project, to provide comprehensive support to all aspect of branch activities while developing innovative ways of adding value to business
  • Develop good working relationships within the bank and a network of contacts in the market in order to facilitate the implementation of our service quality agenda in the branch

 

Required Skills or Experience

Technical Skills, Training & Experience:

  • Must be of Graduate caliber with excellent communication skills
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in banking
  • Must demonstrate strong evidence of having successfully managed Sales and Service function in a complex environment through powerful leadership
  • A strong penchant for creativity, problem solving, decision making and technical banking skills is paramount since it is vital in the effective handling the Bank’s systems
  • Apply all relevant policies and procedures to deliver results

 

2. Credit Analyst

Successful candidates will be expected to preparing and analyzing business credits in line with agreed standards and service levels that supported the delivery of excellent service to the Banks clients. The job is based in Kumasi and the selected candidate will report to the Head, Business Credit Administration Unit.

Duties:

  • Working closely with an Account Relationship Manager, the selected candidate will deliver consistently high quality and time-bound reports to support the credit delivery process
  • Candidate is expected to handle facility documentation and perfection

  • Candidate must be a graduate caliber with high analytical skills
  • Demonstrate a high sense of integrity and personal credibility
  • Possess a strong background in banking and customer service
  • High level of creativity, resilience and a strong drive to achieve results due to enable candidate to sustained demand to our credit products
  • Possess a strong credit and financial analysis base a commitment to professional development

 

3. Corporate Account Relationship Manager

Success candidates will be expected to proactively grow the Bank’s net credit portfolio while developing new business to help achieve its sales agenda. The selected candidate will be a key member of the Business Banking Team and report to the Head, Business Banking Department.

Duties:

  • Undertake reviews of financial and business analysis in line with standards, and effectively manage all operational challenges associated with your portfolio
  • Contribute to the strategy development by conducting regular market analysis on the products and services offered by the Bank to make it more responsible to the needs of its customers and achieve a competitive edge

 

Required Skills or Experience

Technical Skills, Training & Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in corporate/relationship management in the banking industry
  • A first degree or its equivalent professional qualification
  • A post graduate degree in management or related program will be an added advantage
  • Candidate must be a team player
  • Possess client recruitment and sales management skills
  • Exhibit strong analytical level of skill and demonstrate leadership qualities
  • Demonstrate sound judgment and an ability to successfully manage change
  • Candidate must display in-depth knowledge of Structured and Trade Finance Products, and be able to use their business acumen to manage risk and assist the Bank grow faster and smarter
