Job Description

Job Title: Master

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for all necessary statutory trading certificates and other customary port documents
• Ensures that the vessel is navigated in a safe and professional manner
• Responsible for the safety of the vessel, crew, cargo and the environment
• Responsible for the overall management, planning, organisation and control of all vessel activities

Qualification Required & Experience

• STCW 95 (A-II/2) certificate of competency
• Full DP operator’s certificate
• Fully conversant with flag state maritime law / legislation
• Able to communicate effectively in English, in accordance with STCW code table A-II/I
