Job Description

Job Title: Structural Engineer X2

Job Location

Responsibilities

Reporting to Head of Engineering, the jobholder will be in charge of conceptual and detailed design of Subsea Structures as well as Topsides work and Installation Aids and ensure the interface with the Client, the suppliers, the fabrication, the drafting and the installation team.

• Responsible for  structural design activities
• Interface with the different services of Subsea 7.
• Prepare and validate the documentation and the preliminary studies related to tenders and projects,
• Perform specific calculation of incorporable, sea fastening or installation aids, managing plan interfaces and budget
• Provide technical expertise at all times
• Design and deliver training for junior Engineers
• Participate  in information management
• Propose innovative solutions to reduce cost

Requirements

• A Master Degree in Engineering
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in structural design related activities
• Experience in the structural engineering and analysis of offshore and subsea steel structures
• Good knowledge of analysis software (FEA) and Beam Element.
• Experience in Subsea Oil and Gas would be an advantage
