SW Global Limited recruits Business Development Manager
In this position you will be required to focus on developing new and large target clients for SW Global. You will also have to build and nurture a strategic relationship with new and existing clients.
You will lead business development activities, focus on identifying and qualifying new projects, markets, and customers in the business arena through competitive intelligence and assessments, strategic partnering, channel coordination and building relationships.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for identification and development of customer business requirements
Responsible for establishing and executing business development strategy
Uncover large target market opportunities and sell solutions to clients
Through the use of equipment surveys, estimation, proposals and presentations prepare meaningful solutions to clients/customers needs.
Develop client confidence and trust in SW Global.
Clearly communicate customer requirements to SW Global field personnel.
Build relationships with internal and external customers.
Contribute new ideas for achieving and exceeding targets
Report on competition and market trends.
Develop in conjunction with Sales, the Marketing and Sales Strategies to penetrate new markets in the targeted verticals.
Manage, and measure activities of Strategic Partners and System Integrator channels to provide monthly updates of progress and suggest any corrective actions.
Manage and close sales opportunities through forecasting, account resource allocation, account strategy, and planning
Support sales through calls and/or web based presentations to manage product positioning, and strategies
Increase pipeline through demand generation and targeted campaigns or net new accounts.
Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of products and technologies, competitors and industry trends
Identify sales opportunities through cold calls, networking and relationships
Conduct customer visits and presentations
Ensure successful delivery of defined solution or contract engagement and maintain contact with current accounts as potential sources of additional business and as referenceable accounts.
Develop and maintain opportunities in a weekly pipeline report
Builds a strong working relationship with clients, partners and internal partners
Work is typically at customer locations/onsite
It is important to note that in your team, you might be required to multi task, be detail oriented, flexible and work on multiple projects at the same time. You should also be prepared to change positions at short notice and adapt to constant change.
Required Skills or Experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or a business related field is preferred.
At least 3-5+ years of Account Management experience
Strong interpersonal and communications skills
Ability to effectively manage relationships with cross-functiona l partners to drive projects toward completion
Strong organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities
Strong Presentation and Customer Service skills
Proficiency in Power Point, Excel, Word and other standard office computer applications
Must have the ability to prospect, qualify, and capture new business opportunities
Must have prior experience with formal selling methodologies.
Familiarity with contact management tools.
Must be self-starter, innovative and highly motivated.
Must have professional skills needed to interact with clients in meetings, over the phone, in written communications and one on one interaction when required.
Software industry experience is a plus
