Job Description

Job Title: Accountant

Job Responsibilities

Booking of GL expenses (PTT, Water, Electricity, Repairs, Professional Services, Delivery & Sales vehicles expense, Maintenance Contracts, Insurance, Training, etc…) and make sure of correctness of these documents and book them to the correct accounts ( This is one of the Major area of accuracy as it reflects all the company transactions)

·Other Receivables/Payables: Prepare statement of accounts for a list of accounts he is responsible of, reconcile and analyse them in order to have the correct balances reflected on the system

Deferred Charges: Book all invoices and prepare a recurring voucher to extract the expenses on a monthly basis for 3 years.

Treasury:

·Control all bank charges, interest and value dates ascertaining compliance with agreed terms and conditions.

Reconciliation:

Perform bank reconciliations to make sure that all bank balances are correct and match with banks statements.

Analyze all types of cash accounts and ascertains that balances are correct and don’t include unjustified pending amounts.

Analysis of Receivables statements

Others:

· Van Spot Check

· Warehouse Spot Check in head office and remote locations

· Rotation of duties with other members of accounting team including cashiers.

Education & Experience:

Bachelor Degree in Business or any similar degree

2 -4  years or experience

Behavioral Skills:

Attention to details

Analytical thinking

Technical Skills:

Computer Literate (Microsoft Office especially excel)
