To achieve its objective of being the most loved media brand in Africa and beyond, our client seeks to fill it’s Quality Assurance Manager position with a highly motivated, creative, and result oriented individual who would achieve results through strategic leadership.
Job Title: QUALITY ASSURANCE MANAGER
Reporting to the Group Head, Strategy and Quality Assurance, the job holder will assist in leading and
directing the formulation of Corporate and Business strategies and provide oversight for their execution and monitor quality standards across the subsidiaries.
Prepare quarterly strategy execution reports for review by the Executive Committee
Collaborate with the five subsidiaries to execute high journalistic standards, practices and policies to ensure all produced content is accurate, robust, differentiated and best of breed
Monitor editorial quality and operational metrics for efficient enforcement and monitoring
Assist with the development of the integration of editorial offerings within the production processes
Work with Group Head Institutional Renewal and Group Head HR, facilitate editorial and management training, orientation and coaching facilitation for content, engineering and other support teams for quality broadcast and world class content and operational standards
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to supervise, monitor and review the execution of standards
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Social Science or Business Administration.
A minimum of Five (5) years of experience in General Management or other similar position.
Professional Certification in Management or Management related courses such as CIM, IHRMP, CIPD will be an added advantage
Excellent leadership, negotiating, influencing and good presentation skills.
Must be proficient in the use of MS Office suite – Word, Excel & PowerPoint
