Job Description

Job Title: Sales Category Manager

The company is looking to offer the opportunity to work with a well established and fast growing distribution company. We offer an exciting position for a top Sales Category Manager in Ghana to be part of our sales team and lead them.

The candidate should be an entrepreneur who will come in with strong strategies for the brands and be able to further boost sales, manage people and accounts, set targets and incentives for sales team, develop and grow the go-to-market strategy and continously keep the sales force up to date with trends. He or She are also expected to have strong internet social and online selling experience in order to increase the company’s online sales revenues.

Responsibilities:

• Our Sales Category Manager is expected to manage the salesforce and customers, develop the brands and comply with the set brand poicies.
• The manager is also expected to produce and present regular sales reports and present them for budgeting and on a monthly basis to the Managing Director.
• The postition is on a contract basis and offered to Ghanaian citizens or others with valid work permits in Ghana. Benefits are highly linked to sales target achievments and growth.

Required Skills or Experience

• The position requires a minimum graduate degree in a relevant subject, be fluent in English both writing and speaking, with added advantage for knowledge of French language.
• Ability to drive and posess a valid driver’s licence is desirable.

Other required skills:

• Graduate (also open to post-graduate) degree in relevant subject from a first class university
• Have a minimum 5 years experience in a IT and accessories similar position
• Self motivated
• Ability to travel within Ghana
• Sound analytical skills both mentally and through spreadsheets
• Communication skills – written and verbal
• Leadership skills and ability to manage a sales team
• Planning and organizing
• Fast learner and self-driven
• Able to work under pressure
• Ability to work on Saturdays
• Attention to detail and accuracy
