Job Vacancy: Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
Carrying out preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance on equipment in the plant to ensure the availability of the plant to meet production targets.The successful Candidate  will report to the Maintenance SupervisorThe Position is based in GhanaDuties and Responsibilities

•  Ensuring all reports required (job request, shift reports) are accurately and timely filled
• Follow – up on all jobs assigned but not completed during the day to ensure they are closed and well documented
• Operating and maintaining the boiler
• Troubleshoots on defective electrical, mechanical and hydraulic equipment and undertake the necessary repair works

Qualification and Experience        

• HND Mechanical Engineering or Part III
• Minimum of five years post qualification hands-on relevant working experience in a food processing factory
• Very familiar with Cocoa pressing equipment especially presses
• Ability to work without supervision
• Ability to diagnose faults and identify the cause of problems
• Ability to troubleshoot and work confidently and independently
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and make modifications on equipment
• Good understanding of Engineering, safety and environmental standards
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
