Admission officer will be dealing with admissions processes, procedures and enquiries. Enquiries are usually via email, telephone, walk- in or filled pre-registration forms. These may be either local or international enquiries. The Admissions department assists and help drive student recruitment, by attracting prospective students to enrol in programs.
Duties & Responsibilities
Counselling students about the programs offered at the FDN and UG level
Explanation of application process for gaining entry into University
Managing communication between the University and the student during the application process ensuring a correct and complete application is received by University
Collect, maintain and review all material submitted for application
Informing prospective students regarding the departments policies and procedures,
Proper and thorough follow up for enquiries received via Email, Physical – walk in, Telephone, and Pre-Registration Forms to maximise number of applications received by department
Follow up via Email and phone
Updating all of the above on the CRM application used in department and manage leads conversion
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Liaison with the university admissions office in Nigeria regarding applications submitted
Provide correct and accurate reports to management
Collection of feedback from prospective students for marketing feedback report
Assist in planning and conducting student orientations, meetings , workshops and graduations
Assist in school visits, school fairs, graduation functions, etc as required.
Assist Admissions/Recruitment Manager as required.
