A leading Oil & Gas Company is looking for qualified candidates for the below position based in Accra.

Job Title: Junior Procurement Officer

Main Responsibilities:

• To prepare and compile contractual and commercial sections of the tender package
• Writing contracts requirements in conformity with all applicable laws and in compliance with Company Procurement Policies & Procedures
• To prepare ITT and send them to the selected companies
• To liaise for the purchasing and contracting activities with other Company’s Departments
• To conduct commercial evaluations and finalise all contractual terms and conditions to award Contracts for goods and services
• To negotiate with suppliers for technical, commercial and contractual aspects
• To issue Purchasing Orders once the vendor has been selected and file them with the summary of the tendering process

Required Skills or Experience

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Law or related technical fields, with minimum of 2-3 years contracts experience in the up-stream process and oil & gas projects of which at least 1 year on medium/high complexity contracts
• Good negotiation skill
• Good degree of computer literacy in Microsoft Office programmes
• Good command of both written and spoken
