Relief International Ghana: Contest Co-ordinator

Founded in 1990, Relief International provides emergency, rehabilitation and development services that empower beneficiaries in the process. RI’s programs include health, shelter construction, education, community development, agriculture, food, income-generation, and conflict resolution. RI employs an innovative approach to program design and a high quality of implementation performance in demonstrating deep and lasting impact in reducing human suffering worldwide.

Relief International Ghana is currently implementing a four year USAID-funded Ghana Water and Sanitation Project in five regions.

• Organise the logistical needs of the innovations contest
• Accept and organise contest submissions
• Assist in the recruitment of preliminary and final evaluation panel
• Co-ordinate evaluation of submissions
• Manage all official correspondence
• Co-ordinate the organisation of the award ceremony
• Co-ordinate media relations for the contes

Required Skills/Experience:

• First degree in Mass Communication, Public Relations, Social Sciences
• Work experience in the development sector
• Experience in organising contests and media relations
