Our client, a leading IT service provider, seeks to add a new member to their team as an “IT Solutions Sales Manager.” The incumbent will be responsible for selling IT business solutions to targeted clients and will report to the CEO. This role is based in Accra, Ghana.
Responsibilities include:
- Develops and deploys a lead generation plan which will identify well-qualified business opportunities and key contacts through a variety of avenues.
- Pursues new business leads to fulfill sales goals and works closely with sales staff to respond to new business inquiries. Leads the proposal preparation process in response to customer’s requests. Makes sales presentations to various groups within the customer’s organization when needed.
- Develops, implements and tracks performance on key sales performance-related measures.
- Monitors performance within the project team to ensure that customers’ expectations are met.
- Provides market insight into emerging issues.
- Actively contributes to the ongoing success of the company by maintaining the highest possible level of client customer service.
Required Skills or Experience
Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Minimum of 4 years’ work experience, primarily in an IT related industry.
- Must have a proven track record as an excellent sales or business development manager. Minimum of 3 years’ experience is B2B sales.
- Must have basic knowledge of IT infrastructure.
- Must have excellent writing and verbal communication skills in English.
- Great interpersonal skills with an ability to relate well to C-level executives.
- Work experience in Ghana or West Africa is required.
