Job Title: Sales Manager
TEAM MISSION STATEMENT
To grow IROKOTV’s customer-base and revenue by signing-up subscribers in Accra
To market and educate potential customers on IROKOTV’s mobile application
POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for an exceptional leader with an Entrepreneurial mindset. The Sales Manager will be responsible for aggressively growing the IROKOTV subscriber base within their city through effective
management of all offline sales activities – including management of IROKOTV kiosks.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Managing team’s performance— monitoring and tracking sales, and developing innovative sales strategies for your city
Reporting on sales (and kiosk) performance and providing key insights that will determine sales strategies and approach to hitting targets
Leading initiatives and coordinate sales activities with Sales Team Leads and Offline Agents
Coordinating team’s operations— monitoring agent attendance, scheduling shifts, ensuring all agents have all functioning equipment needed to perform
Tracking team’s performance—- generating daily sales reports and performing weekly performance reviews, identifying low-performing agents and recommending course of action, reconciling sales stats and revenue generated (cash deposits)
Supporting agent recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, and training
Serving as a liaison with the local authorities in your city – ensuring that all IROKOTV operations are compliant with the laws and regulations of the city
REQUIREMENTS
3 – 5 years of sales experience (offline sales a plus)
Entrepreneurial, proactive, and 100% willing to get hands dirty
Analytical – should have good excel skills
Experience in selling mass market products preferred.
