Duties and Responsibilities
To participate in the University’s teaching and research activities in the Foundation Programme, as follows:
Required Skills or Experience
Required Academic Qualifications and Competencies | Essential/Desirable | *CV/ Supporting Statement/Interview/Presentation |
Relevant MPhil. / MSc. in the roles advertised with references – a supporting statement that this is the case would suffice | Essential | CV/References |
Have expert knowledge, teaching and applied research interests in lectureship roles advertised | Essential | CV/Supporting Statement/ Interview/Presentation |
Experience of teaching in Higher Education (especially at the Foundation programme level would be advantageous) | Essential | CV/Supporting Statement/Interview/Presentation |
Experience of module design, curriculum development and quality assurance, using pedagogical research to develop the learning experience | Desirable | CV/ Supporting Statement/Interview/Presentation |
Experience or good understanding of the issues involved in transnational education | Desirable | Interview/ Supporting Statement/ Presentation |
An emerging record of research experience in areas advertised, as evidenced by a record of publications comparative to the position and career history | Desirable | CV/ Interview |
