Job Title: Sales Consultant
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop sales and business plans for assigned territory
- Develop and maintain product knowledge to support clients effectively
- Build effective relationship with the clients
- Perform day-to-day sales administration
Identify resale opportunities
Regular client contacts through visits, phone calls to secure and renew orders /contracts
Arrange for product demonstrations, presentations, training or trial installation of products
Visit prospects and inform them about new solutions, technology, pricing and availability
Collaborate with internal sales team to administer to customers’ needs
- Promote or apply innovative ideas and training to enhance business results
- Act as the consultant to the market segment within which he/she operates
- Maintain awareness of competitors’ solutions and market position
- Understand unique regional business dynamics (e.g., market needs, marketing practices, labor practices, legal issues)
- Create strategies to balance short-term requirements with long-range business plans
- Cultivate networks with people across a variety of functions and locations

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in the following areas: Engineering, Business, Humanities and Social Sciences
- Three (3) years of experience in sales with a good record of achieving sales targets.
